Other Thoughts:We bought this Razor Powerwing Scooter for our 2.5-year-old to ride around our cul-de-sac. It took him about about a week to really get it down and now he flies on it! He loves that he can keep up with all the "big kids" and he asks to ride it several times a day. We hesitated to buy it at first because of the price, but we have absolutely no regrets! It is so easy for him to steer and it is the perfect size. He still doesn't understand the braking system, but he just drags his foot to stop himself. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with this scooter!
Other Thoughts:My 2.5 year old loves this scooter. He figured out how to use it in less than a day. It is extremely well made and I'm very impressed with the quality and durability of the product. It feels very stable and I am not worried about my son falling.
Other Thoughts:We purchased this scooter for our 5 yr old son even though some of his neighborhood friends were getting the 2 wheel scooters. His balance is not great and frankly he just wasn't ready for the 2 wheel scooter. So we figured why get him the Razor and have him just be frustrated instead of having fun? Well he loves it! Furthermore, his little friends with the 2-wheel scooters ditch theirs and want to ride his! He may not ride it for more than a year but so what...I wish we had gotten it for him last year!
Other Thoughts:Four years and two rough and tumble boys later, this scooter is well worth the price tag. It is far superior to cheaper scooters for the toddler set. This was a 2nd birthday gift for my older son and he loved it. My younger son, now 3, inherited the scooter at age 2 and uses it all of the time. It has traveled with us, sustained falls and other wear and tear and is still going strong. Not to mention, the kids love riding it because it is so easy to control. It is a confidence builder. My only complaint is the weight limit simply because they outgrow it.
Other Thoughts:My 3 year old learned to ride this scooter in 1 day! She loves it. The neighbors call her "scooter girl." I would highly recommend this for a younger child learning to ride. The design is excellent and while the price may be high it is hands down better than the $20 scooters you can buy anywhere.
