Remote requires no real setup other than adding the PS3 if you haven't done so already. You can customize activity buttons like anything else to your liking. Buttons are all in the software menu.

It is so amazing to finally be able to automatically power the PS3 on and off with the remote activities. As a note, remember that the remote doesn't work with games and you may need to eject any games to get the remote to properly work.

Finally, I'm able to control my PS3 with my Harmony 880 remote. The adapter is really small, about the size of a deck of cards, so it is very easy to place anywhere. Setup was very simple, but remember to delete your Play PS3 activity and delete the PS3 device from your setup before adding both again. This will ensure that all the codes transfer in correctly. All the buttons work flawlessly with zero lag.

It seems that many people don't research a product before they buy it. There are some complaints about the price of the Logitech Harmony adapter, but the fact remains that this is the lowest priced IR to BT solution available for the PS3. The direct competition ranges in price from ~$70 up to $160. If you're going to talk price, please compare apples to apples. The Nkyo Blu-wave is not even in the same ballpark as an IR to BT converter.

I started (naturally), unboxing. I thought the device would be bigger; it's slightly smaller than a deck of playing cards (not as thick). Plug in the AC Adapter (Yes, it's required. Otherwise, the PS3 couldn't be turned on by the Harmony, since USB on the PS3 doesn't provide power when the system is off.)

The good thing about this fan is that it fits on the front not the back or the sides. A lot of the fans out there attach to the side or the back of the ps3, but that actually does more damage than good.
