This items works great for charging my EVO phone. I highly recommend it. I'm able to use the cables and chargers from my HTC Mogul and HTC Touch Pro, with the micro USB male ends and adapt/convert them to mini USB male ends that fit my HTC EVO. And that loop string can be easily removed and re-used on another device if you like.

With all of the different phones and cables out there, I was taking a chance that this was what I needed. The cables allowed me to use my old Motorola mini usb chargers on our new Samsung micro usb phones. This worked exactly like I thought it would. I even had to give a few away to friends and order more. The lanyard is a nice touch. I made it into a loop and attached it to the charger so it doesn't get lost.

I just upgraded to a BB Torch, which uses micro-usb chargers. Using these adapters enables me to use my old BB chargers. I don't have to buy new ones for my office or car.
