The Emoblitz Macro Ring Flash DRF14S is the perfect choice for the photographers who require shadow free illumination.This Macro Ring Flash is designed for close up, macro, medical, scientific and forensic photography as the flash light source is positioned directly between the camera lens and subject providing an equal illumination. This Macro Ring Flash features automatic TTL flash exposure control, IGBT fast recycling circuitry. Flash exposure compensation control function. Multiple mounting threads. The SONY Macro Ring Flash incorporates direct hot shoe synchronisation and has a flash duration of 1/700 second and a recycling time of four to six seconds.This Camera Macro Ring Flash is suitable for macro, scientific, medical or hobby photography.

it's always on so the camera doesn't have to work as hard to make adjustments, to the aperture, shutter speeds, ISO, and auto focus. <br/>it is not a expensive high end unit but, for the few Macro shots I take it works just fine.

This is a really easy to use Camera Macro Ring Flash, works great and at a great deal. This light stays on not a flash so light meter can read.

It's cheap, it's well built (which was a surprise, it even comes in this pretty velvety pouch). They look really professional, and people would never know how cheap they turn out to be compared with other units
Cons:
It's a bit difficult to learn how to handle it, but once you are there you can manage whatever comes your way. Hate to use 4 batteries... but that's just me
