I had priced several ropes that were similar. Some were for twice the money. The leather rope was a bit stiff, but with use and perhaps some oil this will soften up. This items met my expectation.

This is the best jump rope I've ever used! The rope is light enough, yet dense enough for me to perform extremely high speed swings. Overall, a great rope for the price.

This is a good Jump Rope. Rubber, I think. It's nice and heavy and has a nice swing. It's pretty easy to adjust the length. Overall, the best rope I've bought in awhile. Since they were so cheap, I also have 3 more waiting in the wings...
