This replacement screen worked out perfectly! It takes some steady hands and you can't be in a hurry, but it can be done! My only wish would be for an option to choose a color frame stick-on cover so the screen can match your NDSL. Screen was a little dinged up so I question if it was actually new but it worked perfectly and was very inexpensive. Moderate difficulty repair requires tri-wing screwdriver and soldering to a ribbon cable.

This was bought to fix a broken hinge on my sons DS. It is a great case, he loves the Mario logo. The plastic seems to be just as strong as the original Nintendo shell.

This product was shipped and received much sooner than expected. Online instructions came with the Housing shell case/hinges so, I didn't have to hunt for them online. Aside from the difficulty of reattaching the led screen ribbon cable, the installation went fine and I was able to save our family an $100 repair fee from NIntendo. This is not a repair for the faint of heart. It will take several hours. One plus about this company is that they included the two tools needed for the repair. The only thing is, they are cheap tools and the Phillips screwdriver is the one that is used the most. The Phillips they provide did not last for my repair, and I needed to use my own to finish it.
