- Pros: Works instantly, no drivers needed on Win2K and above, seamless integration with your notebook (no external parts)
- Cons: I had problems when using it in conjunction with an USB multicard reader, so I had to use the built-in port of my nb. Maybe it needed the additional power connector (included) to work OK.
- Other Thoughts: I have an old thinkpad that only inludes one USB port, and when using an external USB mouse, I needed additional ports to connect my pendrives. So, this product fully matched my expectations. Just plug it in your available PCMCIA slot and then you have more USB ports to play around. I searched for a product like this one because there are other cards that offer additional USB ports but they have parts that stay outside the notebook, and it is not a good idea to move around with protuberances.

- Other Thoughts: This is a very good PCMCIA to get Usb2.0 when my old laptop only support USB1.1. <br/> <br/>Ordered second one within a week.

- Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace the one that came with my laptop. The old one was very flimsy and the connection would cut in and out if it was bumped. I got this one, plugged it in, and my computer found it right away. No need for the installation disc, and i don't know what i would need the power cord for. all in all, it exceeded all of my expectations. Plus, it is flush with the edge of the laptop, a definite plus!

- Other Thoughts: This PCMCIA to USB 2.0 Card worked right out of the box, no need to install drivers. I plugged in my portable 2.5" drive and it worked without having to use any additional power source this includes using the extra power source for the card which plugs into any available USB slot. I do understand that this maybe needed with certain devices though. <br/> <br/>Over all a great buy!

- Other Thoughts: I purchased this PCMCIA to USB 2.0 Card for my sisters laptop when she broke her USB ports, however she didn't have the PCMCIA slot. The product was exactly what I purchased and was delivered quickly. I did return the item and after UPS charges and a 10.00 restocking fee, I got 11.00 back. Note to self: don't rust what your sister says when you ask her if there is a 2 inch port on the size of a credit card on her laptop, check it out for yourself
