- Other Thoughts: This solved all the things I hated about the standard closer. It installed easily and works like a dream. My clear glass storm door will not need to be cleaned so often since we won't need to touch it to hold it! I love everything about it, even looks better! So nice not to have it slapping your body as it closes. I never thought I could LOVE a closer before!

- Other Thoughts: This is a wonderful product. One of my dogs figured out how to open the back door to come back in side so this helps with keeping the bugs out and the air conditioning/heat in. Able to adjust so it closes lightly with no worries of tails or fingers getting slammed in the door.

- Other Thoughts: Bought a new house and the previous owner took theirs. I purchased this and it fits perfectly. The hold function is neat and you can adjust the closing speed easily by turning a screw.

- Other Thoughts: I have one of these shocks on our front storm door and we love it. So easy to lock the door open, even with your hands full. It does shut faster for the last few inches to make sure the door shuts properly. I am putting another one on our side storm door. This door is very heavy, so I will install a standard shock closer on the top and this one on the bottom, which takes care of the fast closing issue with extra heavy doors. All door closers should be made like this one.
