I've been using amplified listeners for 5 years, in my work with elderly hard of hearing folk. Most prefer amplified listeners to hearing aids at times, for a variety of reasons. I got this wired hearing aid from this site, and it works better -- louder top end & simpler to operate -- than the pricier alternatives.
