This seemingly simple piece of molded plastic was recommended to me by a professional photographer. Basically it's the shape of an open box that slides firmly onto the flash. It is small and sturdy enough to stash in your camera bag without worrying about damage. When used the light disperses more evenly and is less harsh on the subject being photographed. Inexpensive solution for better flash photography. A quality product that works.

The site is very well organized and easy to find what I wanted with some extra details that helped me to decide what I was going to get for a new product. The selection is so large that I called the company for some help and did they help. The representative gave me the information that I needed and helped me put in the order. I'm very satisfied with this Lambency Flash Diffuser. It arrived quicker than I expected and the set up was a breeze. Everything worked perfectly. The Flash Diffuser is good quality, the lights are bright, and the carrying case is well constructed so everything fits nicely. It really is a great kit for those just starting out, like myself.

This is the best Bounce Flash Diffuser system I've ever used. The size is a bit cumbersome and a bit intimidating to subjects, but it fills your scene with even and smooth light. Also, because the diffuser is omni-directional, what reflected light that comes off the back and sides adds a bit of fill flash to what you're shooting. I often shoot with the dome in place to avoid shadows on faces from ceiling reflection, but if you're shooting under high ceilings, you can maximize your light output by removing the dome. The only problem that I've encountered is that the soft plastic diffuser is hard to fit onto my SL-580EX but once it's on, it tends to stretch out a little bit and fall of during brisk pivots. If you have the same problem and you'll be shooting with the diffuser for a while, you just secure it with a small piece of tape.
