I waited eagerly today to rip open my HD component converter box, only to realize that it had no individual slots for left and right audio input for my Xbox 360 cable. I almost returned it and got a different one until I realized that I could just buy an audio splitting device that puts the two audio cables into one optical audio cable which is compatible with the xbox 360. <br/> <br/>I don't know what the sound is like because the cable will be sent here tomorrow, but I do know that the video given off of this thing on my xbox 360 onto my tv in 1080p is beautiful. That works fine. I feel like this product is a bit expensive for what it does, but whatever.

Works GREAT. Excellent quality on the big screen. It didnt show up on my screen until i pressed "Ctrl+F8".That wasnt in the instructions.Otherwise, i love it.

This converter works great with my current setup. I bought a HDTV monitor with component input and my Wii worked nicely with it. I ended up returning the HDTV since it was too expensive for its performance. This device lets me hook up my monitor with a HDMI cable which is ideal for me. This thing doesn't get 5 stars since I noticed the component connectors are placed much too close together (my plugs are crammed together and won't plug in flush, this most likely is causing some poor connections...), and the included cables aren't that useful for a Wii's sound output. It certainly looks good upconverting to 720p, although the colors are somewhat washed out, but still very usable. I recommend having this for a Wii setup, but cannot state on the analog RGB connection.

Hi, <br/>My unit worked great. It took a little adjusting my laptop's settings to make the image come onto my tv but after awhile of trying different things out and the internet searches, it was up and running in a half hour. <br/>You need to buy an additional cable to attach from the adapter to your tv because the unit needs cables to connect to it from the tv and cables to connect to the laptop. The unit only comes with one set of cable with an audio cable. You need the RCA or HDMI cable to connect to your tv and there's another connection option but I forget the name of it. <br/>I got an hdmi cable to connect from my tv to the adapter and then I got the vga cable and an audio cable (plugs into the headphone jack on laptop) that came with the unit and connected that to my laptop. <br/>Remember the quality of the picture on your tv will only be as good as the quality of your graphics card. It doesn't matter how fancy your tv is, if you have a crappy graphics card than the picture quality will be poor, this is not the unit's fault, it's your laptop's fault for having a crappy graphics card. <br/>Customer service is great. My unit conked out for some reason after a few months and there was no hassle having the damaged unit exchanged for a new one. <br/>I am very happy with this product.

I just hooked up this product today and it works great. It only upgrades to 1080p but that is enough if you're not an HD junkie. I tested out Netflix and Hulu, the picture is not crystal clear, but like I said, it works well enough for me. It was very easy to set up and is a great quality product, especially for the price. Most other products I've seen are upwards of $100. This was well worth the money.
