Other Thoughts:I bought this based upon a review that someone use it at the gym. I was so excited and took it the first day I got it. While walking on the treadmill I wasn't paying attention and my arm caught the cord from the ear plugs. It jerked the whole thing off the shelf and down it went; SLAM! onto the treadmill and off the end. Never skipped a beat. movie kept right on playing. Couldn't believe it!!!! The picture is incredibly clear and easy to use. LOVE it!
Other Thoughts:I bought another portable DVD player before this one (not the same brand). It did not work right out of the box! I returned it and bought this one! This is the best portable DVD player ever!!!
Other Thoughts:Well Priced. Comes with all the accessories you need for the car. Since the screen opens to install the CD you have to remove it from the car case to change the CD (minor inconvenience) the other drawback is that the volume cannot be adjusted by the remote, it has a wheel on the right side of the DVD player.
Other Thoughts:I purchased this because my husband and I were driving a very long road trip with our alomst 3 year old! It was a 24 hour drive and my son absolutely loved this DVD player. The battery lasted a very long time. Everytime my son fell asleep we would charge the DVD player. I never used the remote. I didn't have to. I would put a DVD in and my son could hit the play button or pause it and then start it again. You can also take this inside with you and play it on a table, too. This is worth the amount of money I paid. I researched every kind of portable DVD player and this showed up on the consumer reports as being the best for the money. And they were right!
