I bought this tie to wear as a tie, and it pretty much does exactly that. I like that it's solid black instead of liquid or gas black. I would buy another one of these if I lost this one.

as the other reviews say, it is a tad bit less wide than other ties but it is NOT a skinny tie, it looks completely normal when not immediately next to another, wider tie.

These are really nice ties. I was very impressed when they arrived in the mail at how nice they are and how good they look. They are being used for my wedding in three weeks and will look great!

Despite what people are saying, I personally don't see this as a skinny tie. It's a pretty standard tie and I'm not sure how it could even resemble a skinny tie. I was kinda disappointed when I compared it to another regular tie and they were pretty much exactly the same size.
