- Other Thoughts: I have had the drive for several months now and it works just great. No noise to complain about and speedy for my needs. <br/> <br/>I recommend this drive as a reliable inexpensive solution for your pc.

- Other Thoughts: Unlike some of the reviewers who had Bluebird software issues, there is no software in my drive. I plugged it in, Windows 7 installed it, and it works like a charm. I burned an audio CD for my car with Roxio Creator 2011, and it works perfectly. I've had the drive for less than a day, but so far I am delighted.

- Other Thoughts: DVD and CD burns come out reliably in this drive. Kprobe scans looked good with the Taiyo Yudens, and even the terrible Memorex media my friend bought fared pretty well. <br/>No bluebirds on this drive. The firmware revision it came with has been updated past that.

- Other Thoughts: I have had no issues with this drive works great. No bluebirds software with this drive. I do suggest it, I do however whish I could find a drive with a white faceplace to better match my case, not black or beigse.

- Other Thoughts: I ordered this unit for a friend who wasn't computer savvy. <br/>It arrived within a week and installation was just plug it in <br/>and away we go. The drive has been performing perfectly.
