I use it for the living room, I placed it under my TV so I can glance under the TV to keep tabs of the time/ Not too bright, but bright enough to see clearly as my aging eyes need the larger numerals to be able to see well from across the room.

This alarm clock looks simple but works great. The numbers are large and easy to read especially if your vision is blurry early in the morning. It's bright in the dark but does not give off a bright glow and thus does not light up the room. The only issue that I seem to have with it is that after a few months it seems to keep falling behind maybe a minute or less. I've had to adjust it a few times which isn't a huge deal.
