Finally got a chance to use these and the sound quality is pretty nice. Could be clearer, but for what you get it's great. Sounds like a laptop default speakers

no issues with water damage or sound quality. Obviously it will never be the same as non-waterproof mp3 players but this is great for the price and quality.
