The paper trimmer is light weight and easy to use. I had an older paper cutter that was nice but heavier. The lighter weight makes it nice to carry and use. The handle of my old paper cutter was in two pieces and the screw that held them together came out several times. I finally decided it was time to replace the cutter. I like that this handle is one piece. The paper lines up nicely and the blade cuts very nice. I have been very pleased with it.

I bought this cutter to trim photos that I print. Alignment of cuts could be better, i.e., cut is not accurate with edge of base. However, after using it a few times, one learns where to place the cut. Also, in high humidity, blade tends to grab the paper and not cut cleanly. 90% of the time the cutter works well.

Every scrapbooker NEEDS one of these.. i really recommend this size because it fits the pages well and prevents any unwanted bending. <br/> <br/>Light weight and easy to store. <br/> <br/>Supervision needed when handled by children though.

Cuts cardstock accurately - just wish it could cut more than 1 or 2 sheets at a time. I still need to use my rotary cutter to cut chipboard and other thicker materials.

If you are looking for the best cutting machine that gives you accurate measurements every time, this is it. The paper holder was a little difficult to get use to holding down, but that's what makes the cuts so accurate. After the first couple of cuts, you'll have no problem remembering to hold down the paper holder. This is the best product for card making.
