Other Thoughts:I initially bought this for added protection for my Panasonic TM 700 camcorder lens. But it does have a noticeable affect on the picture quality. It's great! And good price.
Other Thoughts:I have used both in dark conditions with very bright light and all ghosting was gone. These things are a miracle even on the least expensive Nikon lenses. I highly recommend this lens filter for simple worry-free protection.
Other Thoughts:The 4 star rating is given based on the price of a Hoya Filter. Hopefully it lives to the rating when comes to durability and protecting lens from any accident.
Other Thoughts:this is a fantastic alternative to more expensive products.... i purchased 2 of these for my lenses and they are crystal clear.. coating is good the only thing i think could be a little better could be anti fog . also all my products thread into the Camera Filter... these are an exceptional value and would recommend this Camera Lens Filter to anyone looking.
Other Thoughts:Other than use as a lens protector, I can't really discern that this Best Filter provides a huge benefit. I shoot outdoors, but I don't see a noticeable effect on picture quality. Maybe thats the intended outcome?
