This is a nice product. Worked out of the box for me. The guitar combos are descent and are good for a beginner. <br/>I use headphones while playing the guitar. I would love to connect my headphones and hear the music from it rather from through link. This way it would be easier to play guitar and listen to other music with out switching. This is the only dissapointment

I took me awhile to figure how to make this work as the instructions are not very detailed, In fact I'm still learning how to use it- but it does work great for initial songwriting to your computer even with a passive pickup on my Classical guitar. Great price! If your into songwriting, get it! You can listen to your music and play along or get more inspired to add/change it since you can play it back over and over again.

Simple, easy <br/> <br/>Plugged it into a Mac, plugged the guitar into it, plugged in headphones, worked fine with Garageband. Sound is clear and no latency on my setup. Can't comment on the windows side since I don't have a windows pc to test against.

I am very satisfied with this product. You can literally use it right out of the box. As soon as mine was delivered, I opened the box, didn't bother to look at the instructions or the cd, and plugged into one of the USB ports on my laptop. I already had ASIO4ALL on my computer anyways. Within minutes, I was jamming along to a backing track in Guitar Rig, with hardly any latency. Anybody having a hard time with this device is computer illiterate. <br/> <br/>I could tell the difference in sound quality too. Before, I just plugged my guitar straight into the line-in port with a lousy auxiliary cable, which caused a lot of hiss. The ucg helped with noise significantly. <br/> <br/>My only concern with the guitar link is its lifetime. But for now, I'll just jam away.
