One thing I REALLY like about this camera is you can set up an alarm if it detects motion. Not only does it record a video (1 minute), but it sends 6 pictures to your e-mail immediately. This is COOL.

I would totally recommend getting a static IP if you can't check on the camera every day. Before the trip I had about 3 weeks to work out the kinks in the camera.
