- Other Thoughts: I wrestled with getting this external viewfinder. The friend of mine who seduced me into getting an 1D4 had one. He loved it. I drooled over it. I put it on my wish list and no one bought it for me for Christmas, so I got it for myself.

- Other Thoughts: If you know what it is like to burn daylight while you lug around a pro camera on a pro tripod, you'll want this viewfinder. Small, easy to use and the optics are crystal clear. You can scout settings and frame your shots quickly. Then move the gear and get your shot.

- Other Thoughts: Gets the job done. Not as expensive as other director's finder but it works just fine.
