Cases lock closed if you put your thumb on the top tab and your <br/>forefinger under the bottom tab and snap the case closed.

Using the directions above the case snaps closed and secure. <br/>To make sure I dropped the case with batteries inside and the case held up and did not open. For the price they can't be beat.
