- Other Thoughts: What can I say? This thing works as advertised and is very inexpensive. I'd recommend also looking at step up/down rings to use multiple lens for reverse macro photography.

- Other Thoughts: Forget the reviews that claimed it was impossible to use. This thing is simple and works perfectly. <br/> <br/>Nothing else really needs to be said. You lock the lens adapter on the body of your camera just like you would any lens, then screw your actual lens onto the the other end of the adapter, head-first.

- Other Thoughts: It works, but is not possible to control anything (Nor the focus, nor the aperture). You can be very close, but is difficult to master. I took some photos with the standard Nikon 18-55 lens and the result was good, but difficult to master. I give 5 starts because this ring is cheap and works perfect (Again, the problem is my technique, not the ring).

- Other Thoughts: Have been taking photography classes and our homework one week was Macro. My friend had invested in a very expensive macro lens a few months ago, because she's an amazing macro photographer. Macro is not my area of expertise, but I wanted to try it out inexpensively..getting in closer than my Nikon D50 with Nikkor 18-55 lens would let me, so I decided to buy the reverse lens mount adaptor. After a few tries, realising that I had to use manual as my aperture settings wouldn't work

- Other Thoughts: If you have purchased the Nikon D5000, you need to purchase this to mount any Micro lenses to your existing lenses, etc. This does not come with any Combo package, even when you think that it should. This is a great addition to any D5000 package, and you WILL need this!
