This is an awesome little device, and it works great. Its so simple, and yet plays every file type Ive thrown at it. I bought this one mainly because its one of the few that will play MKV. Enjoy playback on any monitor/ TV with HDMI, or even composite if thats all you have."

Working exactly as described, have had NO trouble hooking it up, having it recognize and read my files from hard drive, and remote works also. VERY nice to have.

This thing has played every file type that I have thrown at it. It's small and can be easily concealed, but like the pervious reviews, the remote needs to be pointed directly at the device. Setup is a breeze

I am so pleased that I bought this Best HD Media Player!! Being such a techie, I don't know why it took me so long to jump into this wagon. So far, it has played every single format that I have thrown its way, and with the HDMI cable, the image on tv is crispy clear.

What I really love most about Media Player is both how snappy the menus are and how clear the video and audio are. I am very satisfied and feel like the WD TV does a great job with what it is designed for. Highly recommended!

I mean directly in front of HD Media Player . If you try to use it from any angle or significant distance it would not work. If the remote was better it would have received 5 stars. However, overall I am very impressed.
