It is an excellent web cam . Video is clear and sharp, and software installation is painless easy. I have no problem install it on my windows xp professional and media center version machine.

I bought ten of these for a school project. Nine worked. One had significantly lower resolution than the others. Be aware that the cameras do not have 8 megapixel resolution, at least in video mode.

It is very cheap and useful. It can be used as a flashlight having regard to the length . Build quality is very good, it feels solid and don't feel like it is going to break apart.

The picture is clear and the focus is easy to adjust manually. <br/>The focal length is a bit tele (about 70mm equivalent) meaning that your face fits the picture at 60cm distance. <br/>The built-in microphone produces clear sound <br/>The rubber-like finish makes it easy to handle. <br/>The extendable usb cable is perfect for use on a laptop.
