I paid under a hundred bucks. With a single passive pickup this isn't a high end bass, but I hadn't played in over 40 years and it lets me get back into music cheap. Good looking unit, good build quality. Wish it had flat wounds as the OEM strings are a bit buzzy, but if I get into anything other than hobby playing I'll make the investment. All in all it's a respectable deal and I'm happy.

The bass guitar was for my son. We were all very pleased with the timely delivery of our product and the product itself is quality. Thanks so much.

I've been learning to play bass with this model for about a year and a half, and I enjoy it thoroughly. It's lighter than some instruments, but still has enough mass that it has a good tone. The neck is maybe not as slender as some fancier, faster basses, but it's still quite comfortable. It stays in tune well, and I've never had any troubles with the knobs or electronics

I have the sunbirst version of this bass. It has a real wood body and neck, rosewood fretboard. This bass sounds great and comes with decent strings. Good body construction and finish. Low action out the box, no setup needed. No string buzz all the way up the neck. Surprisingly good tone. Straight neck. Truss rod. Will hold up for gigs or as a backup. Perfect for beginner or intermediate player. I'd have to be pretty good player before I would consider trading up. This is all you need. Don't get caught up in name brands until you start making some decent money for performing.

I bought this bass so I could lay down tracks on my computer. I like it very much and I would recommend it if you're making demos or if you just want to practice some new bass lines. I knocked off a star because the guitar strap that came with the bass is strong enough to support the weight of the guitar. Other than that, I really enjoyed the size and feel of it.
