- Other Thoughts: The question for me was does this work on Kindle 2. YES or NO? <br/>Answer for me is yes, at least on my equipment (nothing proprietary). Works fine for data and charging on Kindle 2. I use a lot of these retractable cables to keep my desk a bit cleaner from cable clutter and make traveling easier. This looks just like a retractable from another seller (not all) so maybe there is a factory making these for multiple companies. Because these are retractable the cable might be smaller, just be careful to pull on plug not the cable when removing.

- Other Thoughts: I got this to use primarily with my Motorola Droid phone which uses the Micro USB port. The cable is so small I leave it in my coat pocket and have it with me at all times. The extend and retract action is smooth, charging and data transfers work. Nice price, product works, can't ask for much more.

- Other Thoughts: Does what its advertised to do. It gives me the extra length I need for my external USB drive and HD WebCam so I can change positions when I need. I also recharge my HD Pocket cam with it - it works, works works! Cant beat the price!

- Other Thoughts: The Retractable USB Data Cable works great for the job I had Intended. I moved a printer farther away. Cost a lot less then the $29.00 they wanted at a local electronics store. I'd buy another if I needed one.
