Pros:
easy install, actually the windows7-system found the apropriate driver easily on the install-CD, full functionality, no problems - does what it should do.
Cons:
only install explanation on Win XP, 98, ME, seems to be an old product
Other Thoughts:
update install directions for newer systems like windows 7, which worked.

Functionally this works fine. I'm using it on a VM XP instance on a Mac OS X desktop through Parallels and Polar F55 monitor. The form factor isn't so convenient, I just connect/disconnect each time I use. I'd like to get some sort of mount setup so I can just leave it connected all the time.

I use this IR Date Transfer Dongle to update my exercises from a Polar F55 to their web site. Works everytime without a problem. I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit edition.

I'm using this product with a MacBook running VMWare (with Microsoft XP Home Edition) and so far it's worked like a charm. I read several reviews, both good and bad, and decided to go with this one. I loaded the software for the IrDA from Polar's website and it has worked well.

Other Thoughts:
I have an older Polar S610i heart rate monitor and watch. The existing IR Interface would not connect to my new HP computer since it did not have a USB connector. Since I was now operating with Vista on the new computer I had to download a free new driver for the Polar software. The new Polar IrDA USB adapter then connected with no difficulty.
