The general feelings of the other posters are accurate, I have decided after purchasing this pen for myself. Nice Flat Fountain Pen for an amateur. Ink flows well, but smears. I like it and do not regret my purchase at all - I use the pen every day at work.

This Flat Fountain Pen is my first fountain pen, but this pen has made me a convert. Light, durable, and very easy to write with. It doesn't have that classic fountain pen look, but it makes for a great workhouse pen to carry around. For the price, it is a great value.

Our children were curious about what an 'old fashioned' pen was like, but we didn't want to go to the expense and mess of a 'real' fountain pen. This pen did the trick! It gives a good experience of what it was like to write in the 'olden days'! LOL! It works great!
