The Pentel Hi-Polymer Erasers are my all time favorite erasers. They erase pencil marks fully and completely, with ease and without eating up the paper. In high school and college, I found these erasers to be invaluable.

This is the eraser you want for creating your own stamps and print blocks. You can use both sides to carve simple designs, both positive and negative. The vinyl works with inks and paints. It gets stained but it washes off and the staining does not affect future printings.
<br/>
<br/>I've seen six of these glued to a board to make a larger printing plate. I can't wait to try this!
