There is absolutely no point in handing one of these over to a small child to play with, but it's perfect for an adult to entertain children. It's easily as educational as any other pretend play toy, or as fun as magic tricks can be.

Made me wish I didn't buy my niece anything else for her birthday -- the only toy I saw her play with was this one. There is also a book that gives a beautiful story about the fairy, which also got my niece reading. Great, great product. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

The product warnings were clear that this is not a durable toy but one that has to be used gently. My neice was shown once how to use the flitter fairy and has not had a problem with it. She's 8 and very careful and gentle with her toys. She absolutely loves it! The price was good too.

I love these flitter fairys and bought 2..I replaced the silk thread with gold shiny thread for I didnt like the texture and it does catch very easy and tear.....i got these to play with with my granddaugther...not for her to play with alone....i really like them myself..since I collect fairies...

the Disk Magic Supply is delicate but you can buy replacements and you know, is a pretty good price for an electronic toy. We have had a lot of fun with it and have all three.
