Easy to charge, even when traveling...just plug the vehicle into the remote. A little blinking light turns steady when it's charged up.

The flipping trick is nice, but we were much more impressed with the 360 feature. You can make it spin circles in either direction, and it will stay in the exact spot that you began spinning, which looks amazing.

The remote is great for little hands, and not at all complicated. (My son has had trouble with some other types of remotes in the past because they are so wide that he has trouble manipulating the controls with his fingers/thumbs.
