The reception is great from two floors away inside my house and from about 50+ feet away outside the house, and you can't beat it that the battery is rechargeable, which has saved me lots of money over the past three years I haved used the unit. No problems at all. I highly recommend this monitor.

Would highly recommend for families with cordless phones, wireless internet - monitor is clear - NO static. Don't bother with the less expensive versions - buy this one. I am a mother of three and wished I had this one since my first! Rechargeble set, voice activated and I can work in my garden and still here him breathe! Range alarm lets you know if you are out of range. A must device for all moms!

I researched video monitors extensively before settling on this one. I love it!! The pan and zoom is the best feature and it is controlled on the parent unit. Very user friendly. Easy to mount on wall...takes one screw and you can see the entire bedroom. Invaluable when you need to see baby without disturbing baby. Does not make noise in baby room when you pan. Very quiet. Battery life on parent unit lasts all night and then I recharge it before naps. Some people mentioned the green light; i could care less, but you could always cover it with electrical tape. LOVE IT

We've been using this for six months, and it has certainly lived up to expectations. The video quality is excellent, both in dark and light. Only negative is that the signal can interfere with the wi-fi on my cell phone.

I also didn't think a video monitor would be necessary, but my husband--a gadget guy--wanted one, so we 1st got the Sight & Sound Assurance by Safety 1st. The monitor on the Safety 1st was always B&W and pretty grainy, also the monitor is very bulky and always has to be plugged in.
