This product works perfectly well for indoor/outdoor use. It can also be used as a baby monitor. Materials of camera and LCD monitor are very durable. Features are just as described by the vendor and Amazon. It makes your money worth.

Worked within 5 minutes right out of the box. Great picture upstairs when camera is downstairs. It will be interesting to see if the night vision lights reflect off the glass since I have the camera inside, pointing outside. No issues so far. Picture is very clear. Sound as well. Interface is very easy.

We purchased the Security system for our new home to use in place of a peep hole for the front door. We didn't want to drill a hole in our new wood door and have never liked the way peepholes worked anyway. The Defender works great, we mounted the camera outside above the door and put the monitor inside the entry on the table. Now, no more guessing, who's at the door, and since we plugged both the camera and monitor into AC, there are no batteries to worry about.

this is not a large scale security camera package. it works great for it's designed purpose. not sure what the negative reviews are about, very happy with mine. my house has a metal roof, which affects the range somewhat. i have a metal shop 150 yards from my house, i can set the camera inside the shop and view from inside my house, though the picture is not great(a lot of snow) you can still make out what you're viewing. highly recommend. great device for reviewing nighttime wildlife activities.

This product can be great depending on your purpose for use. I bought this camera to try to catch the guy hopping my patio railing and peeping in my windows. It not only covers the area in front of my patio door but also the "blind spot" that I can not normally see. Even considering a few minor setbacks with it, I am still happy to have bought it.
