I was looking for an extension tube to add another level to the lenses I own for my e-510. This product does exactly what I wanted and expected it to do. If you are looking for an extension to take macro shots without a macro lens, this product will help fill that void...If you already have a macro lens and want to beef up your shots, this is diffidently the product for you.

If you're planning on shooting flat items, stamps, coins, smashed bugs, this works ideally, especially coupled with Olympic's 50mm lens (and of course, fits many others).

The biggest drawback is that your depth of field will be razor thin, even at f8. There is no glass here, so if you use a good ZD lens, you'll get all the magnifying benefits of that lens times two.

This will yield pretty good results if you use a ring flash, and you will almost always need a tripod. With those, you will discover a whole new world, nearly too small for the naked eye to see.

Made in Japan. Well constructed. Kind of expensive. I guess you get what you pay for.

I ordered these and got them very fast, the service was excellent and they are very helpful if you have any concerns or questions. This Wide Angle Macro Conversion Lens was ideal for someone like me who couldn't justify spending little dollars for a dedicated macro lens. Very good product I highly recommend it just be aware of the very shallow depth of field.

I bought this lens as an add-on to my 14-45 Olympus lens. I wanted to get a bit closer on macro shots. Buried in the instructions it warned the user to be careful not to touch the lens on subjects your were shooting. And they were correct! You get within an inch or so of what your shooting so do be careful. And, to make this lens (and you) work at it's best remember a tripod and maybe a remote shutter button. For the price it is a great add-on for macro shooters.

You can always rely on Dinodirect to get things you need at the right time. I ordered a 58mm lens adapter tube for my Panasonic FZ18. I got it the right time. I’m very satisfied with Dinodirect. I will definitely come back.

I read few reviews about this product and then ordered it. I have used it with my canon with 18-55mm and 55-250mm lens. Considering the price it is an excellent bargain. You cannot use autofocus and aperture control. Aperture is manageable once you set its value, use DOF button and detach lens at the same time. It leaves the aperture there. I took pictures of icicles from window, in daylight, handheld across the window glass. It gave me marvelous results. I high recommend this product for those who want to save money and can play around with things manually.
