The wireless CMOS camera is extremely small, it fits in the palm of your hand and is easy to conceal so that you can monitor an area without the camera being detected. Pros: Clear picture, both in color(daytime)& in B/W (nightime). <br/>Strong infrared LED's, nightime vision 40+ ft. <br/>Well built. Good bracket. <br/>Price. <br/>Cons: Audio would be nice. <br/> <br/>From experience I can tell you that for the price you will not find a better product, so much so that after receiving this camera just yesterday I ordered a second one today.

so far this unit is working great, easy to setup and solid metal case suitable as a outdoor camera. It also has a "cap" cover useful for rainy days. The wiring might need to be made a little bit longer. It's a great value product.

I own 2 of these and use them with a cheap 4 channel PCI capture card on a linux server running 'motion' (software). Cameras are mounted outside and oversee the front/rear of the house. I do not consider this system "security" but rather a planning aid - I know when my packages get delivered, for instance, or whether to get up to answer the door.

I installed this outside, to monitor my front door. Works great so far. Not really using it for long-range video, just about 12 feet or so. The night vision works pretty well at that distance. During the day I get a nice color image with a fast frame rate. The long cable was nice too. Don't really use the microphone, so I can't comment on the quality of the mic, but it definately works. I think this is probably about as good as you're gonna get for color, outdoor camera with night vision and sound for under $50 w/shipping included. If you don't need the microphone. I have one of these too, the field of view is just a little bit narrower, but I think the picture is better.

I purchased this camera for the front of my house to work with two others. <br/>Small and solid, pretty good picture during the day and at night it has a very clear (NOT GRAINY) black and white night vision. So far this is the best camera I have purchased. No complains for the price paid. I was really amazed at the clear night vision, my other two cameras are very grainy at night. This camera was mounted on one corner of the house and watches the cars parked in front on the street, I can see 3-4 cars parked end to end, another looks down on the front door, and the last one is on the opposite corner of the house looking at the drive way. The further back that you can mount these cameras lets you have a wider field of view.
