- Other Thoughts: I had lost the original lens cover and looked at the prices from Nikon. I was shocked at what they wanted for a simple item. I then looked at Amazon and was very impressed with the prices and the availability. I ordered the product and I received it within a week. I will always check Amazon now before ordering anything on the internet.I am very happy with the entire purchase.

- Other Thoughts: This 55mm Lens Cap works perfect, no complaints other than I almost paid in shipping what the cap itself cost. However, it was still a decent price for a replacement.

- Other Thoughts: I like this lens cap, especially now that I have a tether attached. The only changes I would make to it, is some kind of loop that a tether could be really attached by more that just a sticky foot like my current tether.

- Other Thoughts: I lost the original in a crowded place when I was bumped by a big person. This one fits a lot better and has not poped out even in a similar situation.

- Other Thoughts: A review of a lens cap. I have to say I like the way the Nikon front lens cap works and how easy it is to take it off and replace it. Because the mechanism for releasing the cap is triggered by squeezing the pieces on the front of the cap, it is nearly impossible to end up with a slipping finger to mark-up the glass on the front of your lens. The cap stays on securely and protects the lens, as necessary.
