This Pop-Up Flash Diffuser is for use on Canon/Nikon DSLR or SLR camera that has a hot shoe and pop-up flash. The Best Flash Diffuser is used to create exposures of even density over the entire surface of film. Use the Pop-Up Flash Diffuser by placing it flush against the front of the lens and exposing through it. It has a convex, dimpled white diffuser front that softens and disperses the light from your camera's pop-up flash. The Pop-Up Flash Diffuser mounts in the hot-shoe slot of digital cameras with a flash, greatly softening light. This fits cleanly over the head of your existing flash, no need for cumbersome attachments, hooks. So, no matter what model hot shoe camera, or height of its Pop-Up Flash Diffuser adapts. It packs completely flat for convenient storage in your camera bag or pocket and has different mounting positions for the perfect fit for any popup flash camera. Camera Flash Diffuser for Canon is great for portraits, group photo and close-ups of objects.
Other Thoughts:It does give that soft glow, what I really needed. I shot within four feet, and no evident hard flash, and those annoying red eyes NO MORE! I will buy a better quality next time, really don't want to be seen with a cheap plastic thing wrapped around my flash. The output is great, but obviously cheap plastic.
Other Thoughts:I'm all about efficiency and quality....I mean we're budding photographers so who wants (or can afford) to spend gobs of money on lighting/diffusion...not me! I've made due with less and adding this little diffuser in makes life easier post production!
Other Thoughts:When I was trying to decide whether or not to purchase this particular softbox, I noticed a lot of people complaining about the quality... like it seemed as though it would fall apart or something. I do not get that impression at all. It is made of a bendable, foldable material, but doesn't seem "flimsey". It is meant to be compact so that you can fold it up small and fit it right into your camera bag... (mine fits inside the front pocket of my bag nicely). It is super easy to attatch to the flash and stays on great. I think for the price and the compactness of the this diffuser, it is well worth the money and comes very much in handy. I have been happy with the results... though I should say I use it mainly as a form of fill flash with my outdoor portraits... not main lighting. Definately recommend.
Other Thoughts:I was looking for something that was small and portable but would give me a bit softer light that the Best Flash Diffuser. I've been very happy with the results this gives and for the price you can't go wrong. The little rubber band broke after about 6 months of use, but I just found an o-ring at OSH and it works just as well. It looks cheap, feels cheap, and is cheap, but the results are great.
Other Thoughts:This Camera Flash Diffuser thing takes my picture from good to wow. I was realllllly surprised that it does so much. If you're on the fence about getting it, just get it. It's cheap enough that you won't really be out of any real money if you don't like it. Just a suggestion - I read the reviews before I bought it and went ahead and got some velcro before it came in. I attached the soft side of the velcro to my flash, the hooked part to the inside of the diffuser. That baby doesn't move an inch. I started doing club photographer recently and my photos look like I've been shooting in that environment for years... get it
