had DVR configured and working online in under an hour. <br/>Mounting the cameras is time consuming, but, worth the effort. I ordered camera extension cables and was sure glad I did. <br/>I look forward to the day I get a PTZ camera as this unit will control it.

The camera's connect do a composite (the yellow, red, white cables) to i think it was a BCX adapter which is great because the camera's aren't bound to the security DVR so if you wanna place a camera on a tv or you wanna connect a different video source to the security console you can.

Has an ok picture. The wires are nice and discreet...The only CON to this system was that it said it would work on any internet connection to view it remotely..I have a CLEAR internet modem and it will not work with this type of internet. It took hours and hours of struggling to figure this out. so now i just have it recording one week at a time.

These security products aren't cheap so I was worried whether or not I would get my money's worth and I have to say that I am very satisfied. It came with everything needed for a quick install and the DVR was very quick and responsive. The slight downside is that the interface of the recorded video searching which is not as polished as I would like, but it's a minor problem that wouldn't affect most people
