What you are viewing is a High Quality Camera Hand Strap for Canon E1 Black. The camera hand strap around the hand, and is designed to stabilize a Canon camera when shooting, and to alleviate fatigue during extended sessions of photography or videography. The camera hand strap for Canon adds security to hand-holding a camera, and was designed to be used only with cameras that have a built-in power booster or grip, or where an optional power booster or extension grip has been added. The camera black hand strap for Canon attaches with one end to the eyelet at the top of the camera, and the other end to the eyelet in the base of the booster/grip. The strap attaches to the right strap loop on your camera, and has an attachment that screws into the tripod mount on the underside of the camera. Even with the wrist strap connected.

You can use this strap without having the battery grip attached by purchasing the hand grip since it includes a plate that screws to the bottom with a slot to thread the cord. This is what I have done as I prefer this hand strap.

So far I'm finding this hand strap very useful. When doing a shoot, you need as much grip on the camera as you can. I've always worried about my camera slipping out of my hands when I working the contorls.

Personally, I went back to the neck strap because, if using the hand strap, the camera is tied to your hand and that hand is unusable for much of anything else without putting the camera down. If you're out roaming around, the neck strap frees your hands up, reducing your fear of dropping the camera, eliminates the possibility of setting it down for a second and having it disappear and, with the strap, the camera is readily available.
