Product lives up to its promises. In addition to the provided software, I am using the Microsoft Movie Maker to copy the video to my machine. Very pleased with this product.

The USB connector works great and the price is right. I am having trouble saving edited projects. If goes through the process and then fails.

I have been trying to find a way to copy old VHS tapes to my computer for a while. This product made it very easy to get this done. The editing software that comes with it is weak, but it does work... besides, you can use different software to edit. For me, it was about a quick and easy way to get my old videotapes into a digital form - and this product works like a charm!

It's a good product for the amount of money. It works. It's not the best quality, but it works. Very simple to use on a laptop or netbook. Perfect for baby monitoring and nanny cams.

I went ahead on and gave this fella 5 stars because it does exactly what it says it does. Captures 480p video, and pretty good audio with a pretty simple interface. I will say, the software that comes with it was not exactly optimal for what I was using it for(to screen capture a friend playing Call of Duty) but if you're just converting old home videos and such, this should be perfect.

This DVR system in my opinion is the best system out there. Very simple to set up, great quality and options of recording. You can view from any PC with internet and adjust your settings over the internet. The motion recording works great.
