This is an excellent product and very easy to install AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! If you try to shortcut the instructions, it wont work. Other then that, it is very good quality tuner, with excellent recording quaility. It is a bit slow on response using a Digital Cable Box Guide. Overall, I give this product 5 stars for ease of use, and quaility for the money.

Took it out of the box, put in the CD and installed the driver, hooked up my video camera and plugged it all in. Wham bam, I was converting my Hi8 tapes to mpeg on my computer.

This is a piece I found to be interesting, since it is well designed, cheap and have a remote. The porblems I had were Sound comes after they speak, the remote causes the computer to freeze and software installion is not that easy.

I found a great deal on this for about $26 with shipping. I plugged it in, installed the drivers and the software and everything works great, remote included. The picture quality isn't the greatest, but it's fine for just watching tv while I'm working on the computer and it's so cheap that I can't really complain.

I read the reviews on this site and others and they were 50-50. Half the people loved this thing and half hated it. I figured with those odds and this low price, I'd give it a shot. I don't understand what problems those who hated it were having. I had no trouble at all. In under 5 minutes I was watching TV on my computer.
