This wired security camera adopts pinhole lens board lens, vari-focal lens and advanced digital signal processing. We advise you to use a regulated DC 12V power supply unit with camera for best picture and for safe operation of the unit. Unregulated DC 12V power supply usually provides around 17-20V after loaded and can cause a damage on the camera. I sure wish that there was a standard way to express how wide or narrow the lens view is. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this camera was very wide angle. I see my whole front yard, and quality is very good when compared to cameras of similar price. Great deal in my book

Installation was easy, and the cameras work perfectly. I was in the electronic security business for over 19 years and these cameras have picture quality close to cameras costing more than twice the amount. I RECOMMEND this seller and product if you are in the market for "wired" security cameras. For the price, this is an exceptional buy!

Camera was delivered quickly and seems to function as advertised. The lens is 3.6 mm which is a wider view (about 90 degrees) than most similar camera offerings which have a 6.0mm lens which is a narrower view. <br/> <br/>Both day color pictures and night IF black and white pictures are acceptable for a video security system. Great camera for the $39.99 price but is priced about right for the product offered.
