When hooked directly to a good TV the picture is really very good including the night vision. When attched to the DVR it loses some of this clarity. Overall for the money it works as advertised. Seems to be built very well. All aluminum construction.

I can see the road from my house (400 feet) in daylight. At night I can see the lights of cars passing by. I park my car next to my door. I can see it perspicaciously, even on a dark night. <br/> <br/>I will purchase another.

This is a great product for the price you are paying. You need to be sure to purchase an extension for the camera because the cord it does bring is very short. It works pretty well during the day, although at times if the sun is towards it the image appears off color.

Camera was delivered quickly and seems to function as advertised. The lens is 3.6 mm which is a wider view (about 90 degrees) than most similar camera offerings which have a 6.0mm lens which is a narrower view. <br/> <br/>Both day color pictures and night IF black and white pictures are acceptable for a video security system. Great camera for the $39.99 price but is priced about right for the product offered.
