I've been a customer of dinodirect for a couple of months. I live in N. California so shipping and delivery is quick and combined with transparent communication (order acceptance, shipping notice etc) it makes for a wonderful customer experience. This order was just another positive experience. I've never tried to replace or refund an item so can't comment on that.

My laptop travels the world so I can get Analogue TV in most countries. More importantly, the Card is an Analogue to Digital Converter. Ideal for digitizing old Analogue Tapes at home.

Cons:

Analogue TV will be switched off in UK in a year or two. The latest Laptops seem to be missing Express Card slots needed for this Product. My Acer Laptop (Vista) is 3 years old. Buy a suitable second-hand Laptop if you have a lot of Tapes to convert,

Other Thoughts:

You can input an AV signal from a VCR and it is converted to an MPEG file on the hard drive. Your Analogue Video Cassettes can be digitized! Similarly, you can input a stereo audio signal from a Hi-Fi and it is converted to an MP3 or WMA file on the hard drive. Your Analogue Audio Cassettes can be digitized! A dedicated equipment to perform either of these can cost ?100 or more!..

I bought this a couple of months ago. I use it to watch live TV and record. All off the antenna. This is fabulous. It was really easy to setup..had it working in minutes. the antenna works great too - better than the one I have for my HDTV (have not tried yet but i think i can plug this one in). I love having my laptop work as a DVR also.

I can only spend good words for the store. Their customer service is great, in particular I was in contact , I asked him a lot of questions because I like to know things in detail and he always replied very kindly. I'm sure many other salesmen wouldn't have been this patient, I emailed him at least 30 times during the whole process. I could get my product as customized as I wanted it to be.
