- Other Thoughts: This thing rocks. I just got it and used it for a fashion shoot. I used it on my Nikon D200 and I have an OLD flash that doesn't use a chord. It works up to 80 feet and doesn't require a direct line of sight. The only thing is that it doesn't come with the AAA batteries required, but that's no reason to knock a star. I've been very happy with it. Mine worked right away and the seller got it to me in 2 days with upgraded shipping. It works just as good for me as Pocket wizards, but MUCH less expensive. Because it's radio there is the likelihood that it other radio signals with fire it, and that it will miss-fire, but for the price, it's hard to beat.
