This serial ATA host PCI controller card is designed to offer a high performance. Cost effective and reliability solution to user who needs to accommodate storage peripherals with the new serial ATA interface PCI controller card. It can control two independent serial ATA channels each channel has its own serial ATA bus and will support one serial ATA device. This card supports the serial ATA transfer of 1.5 GB/s (150MB/s).

Other Thoughts: Thanks to the simple, no conflict operation of these Serial ATA PCI Controllers, I now run 10, 500 GB hard drives in my server, with all exhibiting excellent performance and no problems to date. I would recommend these to anyone requiring RAID configurations or massive storage needs. Kudos!
