A webcam, or web camera, is the loosely used term for any camera that generates images that can be accessed by and displayed on the world wide web through a server. A webcam is essentially just a camera that is connected to a computer, either directly or wirelessly, and gathers a series of images for remote display elsewhere. Webcam technology is widely used by all sorts of people for all sorts of different reasons.
Sign in --> go to messenger --> my webcam --> a box should pop up saying broadcast/idle. Click broadcast, your webcam will then show up in your messenger status. Your friends will be able to see it, and when they do they'll send you request.
For the webcam screen, you cannot view them in just one screen as they have different connections. Every person that shows their webcam to you will open a new screen so as to have different screens for the webcam. For the chat, you can invite them for voice conference or else, click your "Preferences > Messages : tick the box [Show the messages in a single window] and click OK. All the messages you will receive from your multiple friends will be shown in a single window.
