Usage:
- Clean the LCD screen with a lint-free cloth
- Remove the backing of the protector
- Align the screen protector along the edge of the screen. If you need to realign the protector, simply lift it up and reapply
- Gently slide a credit card or phone card over the surface of the protected screen, and press out the small bubbles that might be visible
- Remove the backing of the protector
How to Apply an LCD Screen Protector?
By using an LCD screen protector, you can prevent expensive screen replacements due to scratches and accidental damage. It can also help reduce the glare on your screen. This type of protective film can be used on cell phones, cameras, desktop monitors, laptops, PDA and touch screens, just to name a few. Installation of this screen protector can be completed in a matter of minutes.
- Wipe the dust and the dirt off the screen using a soft, clean cloth and then dampen your cloth with a little water and wipe your LCD screen clean; this will prevent bubbles from appearing on the protective film.
- Wash your hands before handling the protective film. Dust and dirt particles are attracted to the film and could interfere with the film sticking to the LCD screen properly.
- Measure small screen areas that you want to protect using a white piece of paper if your LCD screen protector is not precut. Place the sheet of paper on the screen, take a pencil and gently trace the screen area. Cut out the outline of the screen on paper and use this as your guide to cut your LCD screen protector.
- Measure large screen areas that you want to protect using a measuring tape and measure all four sides of your LCD screen. Write down the measurements. Use your measuring tape as the guide when cutting the film to size using a razor blade or a box cutter.
- Peel the protective film cover from the adhesive lining. Do not touch the back of the screen protector because doing this will leave fingerprints.
- Apply the film to the screen with the silicone layer facing downward on the screen. Align the screen protector with the screen's edge and apply light pressure to the front side of the film as you place it into position.
- Work your way across the screen from the top to the bottom. Do not leave any bubbles on the screen surface as you go. If you have any air bubbles, pull that area back and retry.

04-28-2011- Other Thoughts: This is a great screen protector. Some of the screen protectors I have purchased in the past fell off after a few weeks. This is a high quality protector and will probably stay on until it is worn out. The installation was easy when you follow the instructions on the tabs. Make sure everything is clean and aligned properly and you shouldn't have any problems. There is even an installation card to get any air bubbles out. You will have to look hard to tell the plastic is even there. I will buy this screen protector again.

05-04-2011- Other Thoughts: Make sure you get the screen set correctly the first time, there are no do-overs. Luckily they send you two protectors, they worked very well for me. I did not get mine set perfectly, if it becomes bothersome I will remove the first and use the experience gained from the first setting to get the second one perfect. Fit my DS Lite exactly.
