JIANISI RS-N3 Remote Control Shutter Release Switch

    • Realizing all functions of original shutter release

Definition of a Camera Shutter Release:

    • Camera Basics - The two main components that work together on a camera is the aperture and shutter speed. The aperture controls how much light is let into the camera body, hitting the film/sensors, while the shutter speed dictates how long the light lasts
    • Shutter Speed - Within the camera body is a mechanism that controls how long the film/sensors are exposed to the light. In low light situations, the shutter is open for longer. In bright light, the shutter opens and closes in a fraction of a second
    • Shutter Release Cables - A shutter release cable connects to the camera and allows the photographer to take a photograph without having to touch the camera. In manual, 35 mm cameras, with no electronic controls, a wire with in the cable was pushed out to press down on the shutter release button. In modern cameras with electronic controls, the shutter release cable sends an electrical signal telling the camera to operate the shutter and take the photograph
    • Low Light - In low light situations in which the shutter in the camera remains open for a longer period of time, any movement of the camera during the exposure will result in a fuzzy or blurry photograph. A tripod is employed in low light situations and a shutter release cable is used to further minimize any potential movement of the camera during the exposure
    • Other Uses - Portrait photographers will often use a shutter release cable when they take portraits. It is easier for subjects to have a person to connect with when the portrait is being taken than just being asked to sit still, smile and look at the camera. The photographer can easily interact with his subjects, resulting in more natural, relaxed portraits

An Essential

Product I received looked slightly different than pictured, but otherwise the functionality and features are exactly the same, and it works perfectly.

Great Remote

This remote is pretty awesome. My only complaint is the button lock feels pretty cheap and kinda pops up with the button. Still functional just inconvenient. Great deal!

Remote Shutter Release
00:00:00 04-10-2011
Love this purchase! Works like a charm got it without any hassles for a penny! It doesn't have as long a cord as I thought it would but that is ok as I wanted something for non shake of the camera only. Shipping and handling made it $5.00 but I couldn't bundle up and go find one in town for that. I would have used more gas.

Works great, don't think twice

The RS-60E3 is a nice little plastic addition to your camera bag. It's a plastic remote shutter release button and it works great for those long exposures at night or anytime of the day.

I have used it about a dozen times since I got it about a week ago and it's wonderful! It can lock the lens open if you hold the button down and slide the locking system upwards (on bulb settings).

I give this product five stars because it works, it's cheap, and it does EXACTLY what you need it to!

Well worth the money
00:00:00 03-08-2011
If you need a shutter release remote, for the price, this is the one. I paid $5 in total for this item and couldnt be happier. The button on the remote lets you focus, and once you hold down the button you can slide the button forward and this will lock your shutter button for however long you want it to.

The cord is a little short but I can't complain. I think its perfect IMO

Great product, and couldn't beat it for the price,

ok for what you get
00:00:00 02-22-2011
i really only got this for hdr and long exposure night photos, the switch that keeps the button pressed is great for 2min+ photos, i have even taken a 20 min shot with this trigger, without the fear of shaking the tripod. totally worth what i paid. though eventuially you should think of getting the wireless version from canon. the only con is that the wire is really short.
